EPATT was founded as a summer tennis program in 1988 and tennis is a very important component of EPATT's programming. Through tennis, EPATT instills discipline,sportsmanship,self-reliance and competitiveness. We have three goals for the tennis tier of EPATT:

• To teach the game of tennis, giving the gift of tennis to ALL children at EPATT

• To support and develop children who are interested in becoming tournament level players and provide opportunities for these young players to play tournaments.

• To create an environment on the tennis courts that reinforces EPATT's academic goals and EPATT's mission.
